Leesburg, VA Man killed by Pit Bulls

Last Monday a man was found dead from an apparant pit bull attack in Loudon County, Virginia.

Carter Ridge Delaney was found in a house five dogs. Two of the dogs were pit bulls that were covered in blood and acting aggresively. Deleney's wounds were consistent with a dog attack.

The pit bulls were taken to the animal shelter by animal control officers. Virginia law states that a dog that kills somebody may be euthenized by a court order.

It is unfortunate that Mr. Deleney was probably bitten to death by these two dogs. It is unknown what could have been done to prevent this attack. ONce a pit bull bites you it is hard to get off. Their jaws are extremely powerful.
