1. Blind spots – Tractor trailers have large blind spots all around the truck that can cause a trucker to not see your vehicle, making them more likely to move into your lane.

2. Wide right turns – Trucks need to swing wide to the left in order to make a right turn.  If a small car cuts in between a truck and the curb then a serious accident may occur as the car is squeezed by the truck into the curb.

3. Increased stopping distance -  Large trucks require much more distance to come to a stop than smaller vehicles due to tractor trailers large weight.
