Dashana talks about Virginia accident lawyer Wayne O’Bryan

O’Bryan Law Firm – FAQs

Dashana says:

“The best part is that the lawyers here they stay on top of the insurance company. If I had gone through this and done it myself, the process would have taken a lot longer. The lawyers really did a great job and they gave me what I deserved. (Mr. O’Bryan) personally came out to my job, and we had some problems with the lady that was supposed to be filling out some paperwork and (Mr. O’Bryan) agreed to come out there another day so it was no problem. He personally came out there and that was great. I was very happy, very satisfied”

Can I settle my own case without hiring a lawyer?

Yes you can, you can actually settle your own case.   Which is not to say that its a good idea to handle your case without a lawyer.  Most people are at a severe disadvantage when dealing with an insurance adjuster.

Most lawyers will get you more money for your case then you are able to get on your own.  The reason for that is that the insurance company has a distinct advantage over you as an individual who has no experience handling injury cases.  The adjuster handles hundreds of cases a year, day in and day at..  The insurance company handles thousands of cases a year, so they’ve got broad experience and they know every trick in the book to get you the least amount of money for your case.

Most people handling their own case handle one case in their lifetime.  So it is important that you have good counsel, a good lawyer who handles case of this kind to be on your side to help to level the playing field.

How much is my accident injury case worth?

O’Bryan Law Firm – Frequently Asked Questions

Attorney Wayne O’Bryan, a lawyer who practices in Richmond and Southside, VA explores a FAQ: How much is my case worth?

We get asked this question frequently and this video is relevant if you are in a car crash, a trucking accident, or an auto wreck and your vehicle is a wreck.

That depends on a lot of factors.  The main factor is what kind of injury do you have.  If you have a permanent injury, obviously  its more then if you have a soft tissue injury.  You look at the amount of medical bills that you have incurred.  Hospital and doctor bills.  Physical therapy.

You look at the damage to the vehicle.  You look at time lost from work.  You look at scarring.  You look at a multitude of factors and all them together are what your case is worth.

Of course the ultimate value of your case is what a jury says your case is worth.  That is the arbiter for both insurance companies and lawyers handling these kind of cases.  If a jury will give you $10,000 on your case then that’s what the case is worth.
